This place has been a neighborhood staple for delicious and efficiently prepared quality, affordable meals for the 10+ years that I have been a happy repeat Customer. They have xcellent Chicken Noodle and Beef Gumbo Soup and standout grill-prepared Philly Chicken Sandwiches with generous portions of onions, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and mayo. I highly recommend all of their breakfast items- especially tyeir Omelettes served with Hash Browns and Wheat Toast.

Stopped at Sammy's on our way to Chicago's Midway airport, hoping to get a quick breakfast before our flight, and we definitely got more than we had hoped for! Large portions made to order, French toast that was absolutely fluffy and incredible tasting, friendly staff members and an overall hometown vibe with the cheerful patrons. Food was ready quick, and prices were more than reasonable. Coffee was good and hot and gave us a great start to our day of travel. I am putting Sammy's on my list of great food for good prices and friendly people when I return to Chicago again.

Had the meat lovers omelets. It was fantastic. The staff was polite and efficient. The customers kept coming in and Sammy's was very efficient at getting the orders ready. Will definitely go back. Good food and good service. The restaurant was clean and orderly. Parking was ok too.
